Following on the exhibition, From the Artist’s Studio: Unknown Prints and Drawings by Mary Cassatt, Marc Rosen Fine Art, Ltd. has assembled another exhibition of works from this key period in the history of printmaking. The principal focus is on prints published by the great art dealer and connoisseur, Ambroise Vollard. These works have for the most part been preserved in portfolio and in their original condition.

The exhibition is particularly rich in works by Bonnard and Vuillard and also contains a large part of the graphic output of Renoir. The Impressionist and Nabis aspect of the exhibition is rounded out with a selection of fine color prints by Cézanne, Cross, Denis, Signac, Sisley and Toulouse-Lautrec. Also included is a large collection of the extraordinary Symbolist lithographs of Odilon Redon, many in rarely seen complete sets.

The exhibition was held at Adelson Galleries April 17 through May 11, 2002.

A fully-illustrated catalogue is available for $25 ppd.
